Wearing an artificial penis, also called "packing", means that you look like you have a realistic looking bulge in your pants that makes you look like a man. If you are a transgender man or a transvestite then it can be essential. It can also be useful if you are playing a man in a play or just for fun.

To step

  1. Decide whether you want a hard or soft "pack" in your pants. A hard pack means that you wear a band under your clothes to play with during sex. A soft packing means that you only want a bulge in your pants, and you can do that in several ways.
    • Why do you want a packing? If you want it because you want to please your lover, the best thing to do is to get a hard pack. If it's for yourself, then you can choose either one.
    • Where are you going? You shouldn't wear a hard pack in public, as it can look like an erection if you don't put it on properly; if your packer suddenly pops off, it can be quite embarrassing.

Method 1 of 2: A soft pack

A soft pack is a bit easier than a hard pack, and it's useful to try this first so that you get some packing experience.

  1. Roll up a sock and tuck it into tight underpants. You can secure the sock with a safety pin so that the packer cannot come loose and roll down your pants.
    • If you are wearing boxer shorts, put the safety pin on the inside of your boxer shorts. Make sure it is in the right place before securing the sock. Look in the mirror to make sure the bulge looks good.
  2. Try a jockstrap, and put in a packer you bought in the store or online. Simply put on your briefs or boxer shorts and your brother, and you're done!
  3. Use a jock strap designed for swimmers. This is exactly like a jockstrap, with the difference that you can wear it under your swimsuit with a packer in it. (You can wear shorts or a wetsuit top over it if you haven't had upper body surgery yet, for transgender men.)

Method 2 of 2: A hard pack

A hard pack can be challenging so practice well, but it is usually only done at home. It takes a while to get used to it.

  1. Choose a dildo. The bigger the dildo, the more difficult it is to use and it can also be uncomfortable. Choose one that fits what you want to do and for how long you want to do it. Think about whether you want a realistic looking or non-realistic looking dildo. That is your personal choice. If you want to play with it with a partner, think about your partner's wants and needs.
  2. Buy a strap-on harness and a dildo that appeals to you. Put it on properly and loosen the straps a bit, but not so loose that it falls down.
  3. Choose a pair of underpants that you put on over your packer. Loose boxer shorts are useful if your packer is large, and sometimes it is useful to put on boxer shorts that are a size larger than your own size, so that it doesn't feel too tight. Make sure the top of the packer is under the elastic band of your underpants. Then put on pants.
    • If you want, you can place the packer along the leg of your pants and / or your boxer shorts. You don't necessarily need loose-fitting boxer shorts for this; a tight one is better in some cases. This way of wearing is not suitable for gay men, because the blood circulation is cut off and you can get health problems.

Tips

  • Try everything out at home first. First, practice sitting, walking, standing, and running to make sure no accidents happen. (Running to catch the bus with your packer coming loose and coming down your leg can be very embarrassing, so make sure your packer is really tight at all times!)
  • A non-lubricated condom that you wrap around your packer can keep the packer from wandering around in the boxer.
  • You will probably need to wear men's pants if you are wearing a packer; pants for women have no room for a penis. But there are gay men who wear women's pants, so it should be possible.
  • Put the packer on at home so you can get used to it and practice walking and moving naturally.
  • If at any point your packer is escaping an erection, make sure you know how to hide the erection until you rearrange the packer.
  • Make sure you buy an STP ('Stand To Pee') packer, or a jockstrap with a harness (so that nothing gets in the way when you want to go to the bathroom; then you can go ahead without having to put the packer on need to take off).
  • You can buy soft packers online or in sex shops. This also applies to hard packers / dildos.
  • If your soft packer is tacky when you just bought it, you can roll it in cornstarch to make the rubber less sticky. (It is caused by the natural oils in the rubber, which are then absorbed by the cornstarch).
  • If you wear a belt, it can hold the packer in place.

Warnings

  • When going through a security check at the airport, make sure you have a note from a psychologist explaining your gender identity, or put the pack in your suitcase just to be safe, especially if it contains metal parts.
  • Some people may bully you or think you are weird. Those people are just ignorant; they do not have the correct information on this subject.
  • If your strap-on harness has metal closures, don't close them when you put the strap-on in the dryer - you may not be able to open them.
  • When washing a harness (it will get dirty with sweat and grime after a while), use a wash bag so that the straps don't get caught in the machine and break the harness.
  • If you wear the pack too tightly or you make the pack too big, you can bruise it.
