This article will show you how to pin a post to the top of your Facebook page so that visitors see it above other posts. Only posts on public Facebook pages can be pinned.

Method 1 of 2: iPhone / Android

1. Open the Facebook app. The icon is a white F on a blue background.
   • When prompted to log in, enter your username and password and then click "Login".
2. Press the search field. This is at the top of the screen.
3. Type the name of your Facebook page. A list of search results will begin to appear as you type.
4. Press a Facebook page. Your Facebook page will load in the screen below.
5. Scroll down and click the ▼ icon in a message. It's in the top right corner of the message. A drop-down menu will appear below.
6. Click on Pins at the top of the page. The page will reload and the message will appear at the top of the page above the rest.
   • To unpin a post, go to your post on your Facebook page, click the "▼" icon and then click "Unpin from top of page".

Method 2 of 2: Desktop

1. Open Facebook.
   • When prompted to log in, enter your username and password and then click "Login".
2. Click on ▼. It's in the top right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear below the button.
3. Click on a Facebook page. A list of your Facebook pages will appear at the top of the flyout menu, under the "Your Pages" section. Your Facebook page will be loaded in the browser.
4. Scroll down and click the ▼ icon in a message. It's in the top right corner of the message. A drop-down menu will appear below.
5. Click on Pins at the top of the page. The page will reload and the message will appear at the top of the page above the rest.
   • To unpin a post, go to your post on your Facebook page, click the "▼" icon and then click "Unpin from top of page".
