1. Back up any files you want to keep. Formatting your computer will delete everything and reinstall Windows. You will lose anything you don't back up. 2. Click on Windows Start click on click on Update and security. It is the last option that has an icon with two arrows forming a circle.
3. click on Recovery. This is next to the icon in the left column that resembles an arrow drawing a clock.
4. click on To work. This is under the option "Reset this PC".
5. click on Delete everything . This will delete all files, remove all apps and reinstall Windows. Clicking "Save my files" will remove all apps and reinstall Windows, but your files and documents will be preserved. This is useful if you want to keep your files, but it may not solve all your computer problems. If you give your computer to someone else, it is recommended that you delete everything.
