This wikiHow teaches you how to find and download an app's APK file from the Google Play Store using Android or a desktop Internet browser.

Part 1 of 2: Copying an app URL

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android. Find it Find the app you want to download the APK file from and click on it. You can browse through the different categories in the Play Store or use the search bar at the top of the screen.
   • Clicking on the app will open a new page with information and details about the app.
2. Click on it ⋮icon in the top right corner. This opens a fold-out menu.
3. click on Share in the selection menu. This will open a popup with the various options for sharing the app.
4. Select Copy to clipboard on the share menu. This copies the URL link of the selected app from the Play Store.
   • You can now paste the link into an APK downloader to download the app's APK file.

Part 2 of 2: Download an APK

1. Open your internet browser. You can use your Android mobile browser or a desktop internet browser on a computer.
2. Go to the Evozi APK Downloader page in your browser. Type https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader in the address bar and click ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.
   • You can also use another APK downloader website. A quick Google search will give you an extensive selection of third-party APK downloaders.
3. Paste an app's Google Play URL into the box at the top of the screen. Hold your finger on the box or right-click on the text field and select "Paste" to paste the link of the app you just copied from the Google Play Store into the text field.
4. Click on the blue one Generate download link-button. The program then searches for the app you want to download and creates a new download link for an APK file.
5. Click on the green one Click here to download-button. You can find this button under the blue "Generate download link" button. This ensures that the APK file of the selected app is downloaded directly to your phone, tablet or computer.
