Today's wikiHow teaches you how to close your Yelp personal account, which will remove all the ratings and photos you've posted. In addition, the article also guides how to delete an enterprise operator account on Yelp. Note: you won't be able to delete your account on the Yelp mobile app, and you won't be able to delete your business page.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Close individual accounts
Sign in to Yelp. If you are not logged into your Yelp account, first you need to go to https://www.yelp.com/ using your computer's web browser, click Log In (Log in) then enter your email address and password or choose your preferred login method (such as Facebook).
Immediately delete the comment or image you want to delete. When the account is closed, as a result Yelp will delete your content, but this takes some time. If there are any comments or images that you want to immediately delete, do so before closing your account.- To delete a comment: click profile photo, choose About Me (About me) from the drop-down menu, click the tab Reviews (Comment) and click Next Remove (Delete) is next to the specific comment.

Open the Yelp Account Closure page. Go to https://www.yelp.com/support/contact/account_closure/ in a web browser. An online form will open up.
Enter the reason for deleting the account. Enter your message (or even a message) in the text box below the "Closing your user account" heading.
Click the button Send The red (Send) text box is below the text box. The reason for closing the account will be sent to Yelp; They will then send you a confirmation email at the mailbox address.- This is the email address that you used to sign up for Yelp.
- If you signed up for Yelp through Facebook or Google, this is the corresponding email address that you used to login Facebook / Google.
Open a Yelp email account. Go to the inbox of the email address you used to sign up for Yelp. Email from Yelp will be sent here.
- If you use Gmail, Yelp's email will be in the card Social (Society).
- It may take a few minutes to receive the mail, but you can also check the directory Spam or Junk (Spam) if the email is not found.
Open Yelp's email. Click the email "Yelp Account Closure Confirmation Request" from Yelp.
Click the confirmation link near the bottom of the email, just above the "Thank you" signature. You will be redirected to a confirmation page.
Click Close Account (Close account). This red button is at the top of the page. After clicking that, your Yelp account will be officially closed.

Method 2 of 2: Close a business account
You need to understand the limitations here. You can give up control over the Yelp business account but can not delete a business from the list on Yelp. The only way to remove this information is to sue Yelp.
Go to the business account close page. Go to http://www.yelp.com/support/contact/business_unclaim/ with a web browser. This is the only way to delete an enterprise operator account.
Enter business information. Enter the business name in the "Business Name" field, the current city name of the business in the "Near" field.
Find a business. Click the button Search (Search) is to the right of the business information fields, then scroll across the list of results until you find the business page.
Click Select this business (Choose a business). This red button is to the right of the business name.
Fill out the form that appears. Enter the information you want to provide Yelp with in the "Additional information" text box, then enter the email address of the business account in the "Your Email Address" field.
- You must enter the correct email address that you used to sign up for Yelp.
Check the box "I'm not a robot" (I'm not a robot). This box is near the bottom of the page.
- Maybe the system will ask you to play a simple game to prove you're not a robot before proceeding.
Click the button Send red is at the bottom of the page. The form will be sent to Yelp.
Wait for Yelp to contact again. Yelp will send a confirmation email before removing your access from your business account. This step is to prevent someone from removing your access without permission.
Confirm that you want to remove account access. Open the email from Yelp when you receive it, then click the link in the text and follow the additional instructions to remove your account.
- Note: you cannot remove a business from Yelp's directory.
Advice
- You need to make sure you really want to close the account. Once closed, your account cannot be restored. All comments and photos you added will be lost forever.
