1 Drizzle a little oil over the skillet. Turn on the stove over medium heat and use a spatula to cut the meat into small pieces.- Place the minced meat in a skillet that should be large enough to hold all the minced meat so you can stir it freely.
- Ground beef separates very easily.Turn the meat constantly during frying so that it does not sit on one side in the pan for too long and does not burn.
- Place it in a colander or carefully drain the fat and water into the sink, keeping the meat from falling with a spatula.
- Transfer the ground beef to a paper towel. Gently blot the meat with another paper towel to remove excess oil and water.
Method 2 of 2: Roasting meat in the microwave
- 1 Place the minced meat as evenly as possible in a microwave-safe container. Add 1 cup (250 ml) water to the meat and microwave.
- 2 Cover the minced meat with a microwave safe lid or even a baking sleeve.
- 3 Cook the beef on medium power for 2 minutes. Check the meat and break up large pieces. Repeat the process several times until the beef is completely cooked and no pink pieces remain.
- 4 Use a colander to drain the fat from the beef. Blot with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Tips
- Some recipes require sautéed minced meat with onions. Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet before adding the beef and sauté as usual.
- You can also add spices and salt to flavor the meat.
