Is someone bothering you on Twitter? Or are you just uncomfortable with the fact that someone can see your tweets? While the surest way is to change your account's privacy settings, you may want to avoid messages from just one person. Here's how to block someone on Twitter.

Steps

1. 1 Log in to your account at Twitter.
2. 2 Go to the profile page of the person you want to block.
3. 3 Click on the person's icon (head shadow).
4. 4 Click on “Add @ login to blacklist”. The button that was previously called "Read" will now be "Blacklisted".
5. 5 To remove a person from the blacklist, hover over the Blacklisted button. The button should now turn into "Remove from blacklist". Click on it to unblock the user.
