In this article, we will show you how to find out a user's ID on Facebook.
Steps
1 Open the site https://www.facebook.com in a web browser. Use a computer with a web browser to find the user ID.
2 Log in to Facebook. To do this, enter your username and password in the corresponding lines in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click "Login".
3 Open the user profile. To find it, enter your username in the search bar at the top of the screen, or click on that name in your friends list.
4 Right click on the gray field of the page. Gray boxes will appear on the left and right of the user profile. A menu will open.
- If your mouse doesn't have a right button, hold Ctrl and left click.
5 Click View Page Code. The page code will open in a new tab.
- This option may be called "View Code" or "Source Code of the Page".
6 Click on Ctrl+F (Windows) or ⌘ Command+F (macOS). The search bar will open.
7 Enter profile_id in the search bar and then click ↵ Enter (Windows) or ⏎ Return (macOS). To the right of "profile_id", the user's identification number will be displayed.
