In this article, we'll show you how to find your Skype username (also known as Skype ID) on an Android device.

Steps

1. 1 Start Skype. Click on the icon in the form of a white letter "S" on a blue background; this icon is in the app drawer.
   • If you haven't logged into Skype yet, do it now.
2. 2 Tap your profile picture. You will find it at the top center of the screen. Your profile will open.
3. 3 Find your Skype ID in the "Skype Name" line. It is located in the "Profile" section. Depending on the date the account was created, your ID might be the name you entered, or it might include the word "live:" and a series of characters.
   • To copy your Skype ID to the clipboard, click on your username and then confirm your actions.
   • To paste the copied ID into another application, press and hold the text field for that application, and then select Paste from the menu.
