In this article, you will learn how to understand if one of your contacts has blocked you on Skype. Since Skype does not report blocking, you will have to find out about this through the hints in the profile of this or that user.

Steps

1. 1 Start Skype. Click on the blue icon with a white letter S.
   • For Android or iPhone, tap the icon on the desktop or in the application bar (Android).
   • On a Windows computer, you can find it in the Start menu.
   • On a Mac, check the Dock or Launcher.
2. 2 Log in to your account. Enter your credentials if required, and then click or tap the Sign In button.
3. 3 Find the person in the contact list on the left side of the window.
   • If a username has a gray question mark or an "x" next to their name, the user might have blocked you. However, he could have simply removed you from his contact list.
4. 4 Click on the name of the desired user to open their profile. There are several telltale signs that you have been blocked:
   • If the profile contains the phrase "This user has not yet given you their details", most likely, you have been blocked.
   • If instead of a regular profile photo there is a standard Skype icon, most likely you have been blocked.
