- Not all applications can be uninstalled. Some applications installed by the manufacturer cannot be removed.
Method 2 of 2: Uninstall with ADB
1 You need to be able to make changes to the data installed by the manufacturer in order to remove the built-in applications you do not need. To do this, you need to download a special program.
2 Download and install the Android SDK program. The SDK runs on a computer. You can find the program on Google. It will give you the ability to change the data on the phone, provided it is connected to a computer.
3 Connect your phone to your computer. Enable USB debugging. To do this, open Settings, find the System field. Click on the "Develop options" field and slide the switch to the ON position. Scroll down and check the box for “USB debugging.”
Find the app you want to uninstall. Open ADB and enter the following command: adb shellcd system / appls A list of all applications will appear. Find the application you do not need, to remove it, enter: rm application name.apkreboot The application will be removed, and the phone will be restarted.
Warnings
- Be careful when uninstalling applications from ADB terminal. If you accidentally delete an application required for your phone to function, your phone may stop working.
