Being a sniper in Black Ops 2 is not that difficult, it is available to most players, including those with little experience.

If you stay in one place, killing every player of the enemy team, in the end one of them will become very vengeful and will kill you. So for the sake of staying alive, move. Movement is important because if you stay in one place, you will be indicated by a small red dot on the radar. Better to make the enemy run so they can't figure out your location. To do this, it is enough to make a few shots and change the position. As real snipers do.
3. 3 Examine the map you are playing on. This is a key point, because if you don't know the cards, your death is just a matter of time. Also, knowing the map gives an important advantage - it is knowing the points from where to kill enemies.
4. 4 Keep your distance and never close it. Since you are a sniper, it will be bad to get involved in close combat against an enemy with an assault rifle or machine gun. You will lose most of the time. You have a sniper rifle just to keep your distance and fight where it is convenient for you to kill for sure.
5. 5 Shoot when you can kill. If you assume that you cannot kill the enemy, it is better not to shoot, so as not to give away your position.
6. 6 Avoid directly attacking the enemy unless you know what you are doing. If you practice in the field, you will notice that over time you find yourself in fewer unpleasant situations, as before, and at the end of the match you will have fewer deaths.
7. 7 Use the equipment that's right for you. For example, for some it will be a quick reload store or a variable sight, this is a matter of preference for everyone, and the set changes depending on the wishes of the player.
8. 8 If you are a beginner, take your time to take a shot. Spending some time on a shot will get you killed more often, but this will help to shorten the aiming time over time. You will become faster.
9. 9 Improve accuracy. To improve accuracy, you can take a laser sight, it works like a regular sight, reducing the crosshair and helping to shoot without too much complication.
10. 10 Attack. If you are an experienced player, then by this time, most likely, you have already learned how to attack, while keeping a decent distance from the enemy. Take a shot, and if you miss, take out your pistol and pull the trigger.

Tips
