For this, playlists were created.Any popular media program will allow you to create lists of your favorite songs or videos. You can sort them by genre, artist, or any other criteria. Steps

Method 1 of 6: Create an iTunes Playlist

1. 1 Create a new playlist. A playlist is a list of songs from your library, selected by you according to certain criteria. For example, you can create a Party playlist or a Driving playlist. Playlists can have an unlimited number of songs.
   • Click File and select New - Playlist.
   • Enter a name for the playlist.
   • Add songs to a playlist by dragging them from your library to the name of your playlist in the left menu, or by right-clicking on the songs and choosing Add to Playlist. After that, you will need to select the appropriate playlist.
   • When creating a playlist for a wedding or party, add songs that will make you dance fun!
2. 2 Create a smart playlist. Smart playlist automatically creates playlists according to user-specified parameters. For example, you can create a Smart Playlist that contains only highly rated jazz songs written in 1955 or later, or a playlist with songs that are 100 BPM or higher that were added to your library last year.
   • Combine all possible options to create unique playlists.
   • You can also create options to exclude specific songs from the playlist. For example, you can create a parameter by which songs of a specific genre will not be added.
   • The number of songs in smart playlists can be limited or unlimited, depending on the user's settings.
   • Smart playlists can be updated every time you add files to iTunes that match the specified parameters. To activate this feature, check the Live update box.
3. 3 Create a Genius playlist. Playlist Genius analyzes your library and automatically creates a playlist with related songs that you might like. Hover over a song in your library and click the arrow. Select Create Genius Playlist. The new playlist will appear in the left pane next to the Genius icon.
   • You can add songs to the current Genius playlist by clicking Update.
   • You can adjust the number of songs in the playlist by clicking the down arrow next to the number of songs and setting a new value.

Method 2 of 6: Create a Windows Media Player playlist

1. 1 Click File and select Create Playlist. The new playlist will appear in the Playlists category on the left menu.
2. 2 Name your playlist. When creating a playlist, you will be prompted to enter its name - you will see the corresponding field in which you can enter any name.
3. 3 Add files to a new playlist. Now that you've come up with a title, it's time to add songs! Browse your library and drag any songs, albums or artists to the playlist icon. New songs will appear at the bottom of the list.
4. 4 Organize your playlist. Click on a playlist to see a list of the songs it consists of. You can drag songs around the playlist and arrange them the way you like.

Method 3 of 6: Create a Spotify Playlist

1. 1 Click File and select New Playlist. The new playlist will appear in the left menu.
2. 2 Name your playlist. When creating a playlist, you will be prompted to enter its name - you will see the corresponding field in which you can enter any name.
3. 3 Add music to a new playlist. The advantage of Spotify playlists is that you can add any songs from your Spotify library to them and then share those playlists with your friends. Find any song, artist or album in the search bar. This music must be in the Spotify database for you to add it.
   • Drag files to the playlist icon.
4. 4 Organize your playlist. Any songs you add will appear at the bottom of the list. Arrange them in the order convenient for you using a simple drag and drop.
5. 5 Share your playlist. Spotify has the ability to share your playlist with others and they can listen to it using their account. To share a playlist, right-click on it and select Share. You can share it on Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter.

Method 4 of 6: Create a Google Music Playlist

1. 1 Click the "+" icon next to Playlists. A new window will open where you can enter the name of your playlist and its description. By default, the title will be set to the current date. Click Create Playlist when ready.
2. 2 Browse the music you want to add. If you are subscribed to All-Access, you can add any music from the Google Music library. If you are not subscribed to Full Access, you can add any music that you have purchased or uploaded to your personal library.
   • Drag the music you want to add to your playlist in the left menu.
3. 3 Organize your playlist. Arrange the songs in a convenient order by simply dragging and dropping. You can also combine playlists by clicking the menu button that appears when you hover over the playlist name and selecting Add playlist to playlist.
4. 4 Shuffle your playlist. Select a playlist, and above the song list, click Shuffle playlist. Play will start automatically and the playlist will be shuffled.

Method 5 of 6: Create a YouTube playlist

1. 1 Open the video you want to add to the playlist. To create a new playlist, you need to open the video you want to add.
2. 2 Click the Add to tab. It is located on the same line with the Like button and the About video and Share buttons.
3. 3 Select a playlist. If you have ever added a video to Favorites or Watch Later, you will be prompted to select these playlists. You can also enter a name for a new playlist to add videos to it.
   • When creating a new playlist, you can make it Personal, available to everyone, or To those who have a link. Everyone's playlists can be viewed by all users, while Private playlists will only be available to those you designate. If you choose the latter option, the playlist will be available to anyone with a direct link to it.
   • You can also add videos to the top of the list instead of the bottom by checking the appropriate box when creating a playlist.
4. 4 Organize your playlist. After adding multiple videos to a playlist, you will most likely want to customize their sequence. In the left menu, click on Playlists and select the playlist you want to organize.
   • After you've opened a playlist, at the top, click Change playlist.
   • Move the tabs on the left side of each playlist to change the sequence of the videos.

Method 6 of 6: Create a Windows Media Center Playlist

1. 1 Start Windows Media Center. If this is your first time launching Windows Media Center, you will need to wait while the program builds the library from the files on your hard drive.
2. 2 Use the mouse to scroll up or down the list until the Music item is highlighted, then select Music Library.
3. 3 Click on Albums, Artists, Genres or any other option to sort your music files.
4. 4 Select your first song in Media Player by clicking on it.
5. 5 In the list of available functions, click Add to Queue.
   • The song will start playing immediately. You can click the Pause button if you want to complete your playlist first.
6. 6 Use the back arrow in the upper left corner to return to the library.
7. 7 Select the next song in Media Player and add it to the queue. Repeat this step until you have added all the songs you want to the playlist.
8. 8 Use the back arrow to return to the main Windows Media Center window, then click Now Playing + Queue.
9. 9 Click View Queue, then Save as Playlist.
10. 10 Enter a suitable name for your Media Center playlist and click Save.
