A lot of today's teens want to save up money, whether it's for a computer, video games, a new phone, or that new luxury bag, we all want something in some way. If you get money or a scholarship, you only need to save it!

Steps

1. 1 Determine how much money you will have. Find out your scholarship or salary (if you have a job) and calculate how much you earn in (week, month).
2. 2 Assess your spending. Determine the amount you spend in (week, month) and find the difference.
3. 3 Look for opportunities to make money. Ask to mow lawns, do the dishes, or study with a neighbor. Try to sell your old junk to others. If you're old enough, consider finding a job.
4. 4 Find out how long you will need for these additional activities. Having a timetable for extra money (mowing the lawn, cleaning, etc.) will make life easier for you and your clients.
5. 5 Create a budget. Allocate to yourself the money you want to spend every month on what you want, but then stick to the budget. Don't buy something that is beyond your spending so you can save the difference.
6. 6 You can also offer family, friends, or neighbors to take the dog for a walk (for money). You can also wash your cars.
7. 7 Find a job like barista, courier or whatever.

• You can save a little more than what you want to buy, so you have some cash reward for your hard work.
• Be patient. You won't save $ 1000 per month if you are a teenager!
• Ask your parents for help, they can ask their friends if you could help them with something.
• Never beg for money. This will make you look desperate and no one wants to hire you.
• If you are willing to take the risk and your parents can help, you can trade on the stock exchange. It's a risk, especially in the current economy, but it could be your career.

Warnings

• Ignore new items while hoarding. Start where you started. If you buy a new item, you will regret not having what you wanted in the beginning.
• Never waste money on things you don't need.
• Find the best deal for your product. Sometimes people get so excited that they buy it at the first store they come across, only to realize that there was another store nearby.
