Method 1 of 4: Opening an existing post (mobile)

1. 1 Launch the Facebook app. If you are not logged in yet, enter your username and password and then click Login.
2. 2 Tap your profile picture. You will be taken to your profile page.
3. 3 Click on the menu icon in the desired post. It looks like an arrow and is located in the upper right corner of the post.
4. 4 Tap Privacy.
5. 5 Click Shared with everyone. From now on, the publication will be available to any user, even if he does not have a Facebook account or is not in your Facebook friends list.

Method 2 of 4: Open a new post (mobile)

1. 1 Launch the Facebook app. If you are not logged in yet, enter your username and password and then click Login.
2. 2 Tap What's New?.
3. 3 Click Friends. You will find this option under your name when you create a new post.
   • On a website, this option is located in the lower-right corner of the new post window.
4. 4 Tap Shared by All. When you post a post, it will be available to everyone, even those users who are not on your friends list.

Method 3 of 4: How to open an existing post (on a website)

1. 1 Open the site Facebook in a web browser. If you are not logged in yet, enter your username and password and then click Login.
2. 2 Click on your profile picture. You will find it in the menu bar on the right or at the top of the left pane. You will be taken to your profile page.
3. 3 Open the privacy menu for the desired post. You will find it under your name in the publish window. The icon will correspond to the current privacy settings of the post (a padlock icon if the post is closed; an icon in the form of a person's profile if the post is only available to friends; a globe icon if the post is open).
4. 4 Click Shared with everyone. From now on, the publication will be available to any user, even if he does not have a Facebook account or is not in your Facebook friends list.
