Want to make the best CD collection in the world, but don't know how? If you recognize yourself, then read on.

Steps

1. 1 First of all, it is helpful to have a wide selection of discs. Borrow some really great CDs from friends and select favorites from your own. You can download songs or albums from the internet.
2. 2 Next, listen to all selected CDs and write down the titles of about 18-20 songs that you would like to include in the planned collection. You can only fit a certain number of songs or minutes of recording into it, as CDs vary in size. Usually, information about it is indicated on the packaging of recordable discs.
3. 3 After you choose your favorite songs, take the discs that contain them, insert them one by one into the disk drive of your computer or laptop, and save them in a program like Window Media Player or iTunes.
4. 4 Then you need to create a playlist of these songs to make it easier to select them when burning a disc. Pay attention to their order: try to arrange the songs harmoniously. Alternate between fast and slow compositions. Also try to change styles from track to track. If there are too many similar songs in a row, the listener will get tired of this kind of music. Try to start your compilation with a fast, catchy song, and end with a smooth, good rhythm.
5. 5 When you've assembled all the songs into a playlist, insert a blank, recordable CD into your disc drive.
6. 6 Select your playlist and find the "Burn Disc" or "Burn Disc" option in your music program (in English versions of programs this will be "Burn CD" or "Record CD"). Click on this button and the music will start recording. You will have to wait a few minutes for the process to complete: the writing speed depends on the specifications of your computer and disk drive. When the burning is finished, click the "Eject" button and your CD collection is ready!
7. 7 Use a dedicated disc marker to write down the song titles on your new CD.

Tips

• Make sure the order of the songs is pleasing to the ear.
• While the disc is being burned, try not to do anything with this computer or laptop, as this may affect the burning process and cause defects on the CD.
• If you download music from the Internet, you can use the genre search and select songs from related directions to make your collection interesting and at the same time complete.
• Pick the songs you don't feel tired of and enjoy your CD!

• Handle other people's disks and hardware with care, and remember to take responsibility when using software.
• Use only legal resources and recordings of songs.
• Do not copy or sell a CD unless the songwriting on it is owned by you or your group.
