Pokémon (short for Pocket Monsters) are creatures that inhabit the Pokémon world. Learn to draw Pokémon by following the steps in this tutorial.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Pikachu

1. 1 Draw two circles for the head and body.
2. 2 Draw the rest of the sketch, face, ears, arms, using circles and lines. Also make ovals for the legs and a zigzag line for the tail.
3. 3 Start drawing a Pokémon shape with small fingers and big toes.
4. 4 Draw other details, eyes, nose, mouth and tail.
5. 5 Start painting the drawing with basic colors.
6. 6 Complete the coloring of the Pokémon character.

Method 2 of 4: Jumping Pikachu

1. 1 Draw two circles for the head and body.
2. 2 Draw the rest of the character sketch using guide lines for the face, arms and legs, and tail.
3. 3 Start drawing the character with darker lines, starting with the ears and face.
4. 4 Draw the entire character using sketch lines.
5. 5 Erase the sketch lines and color the drawing with basic colors.
6. 6 Add shadows.
7. 7 Finish coloring the character.

Method 3 of 4: Piplup

1. 1 Draw a circle with a cross section. Here is a horizontal line drawn below half of the circle.
2. 2 Draw the features of Piplup's face. Draw oval lines for the eyes. Draw curved lines and zigzag lines. Draw a circle horizontally bisected for the beak.
3. 3 Draw a curved line across the beak. Draw an oval under the head.
4. 4 Draw part of the heart shape under the head and draw two small circles at the edges.
5. 5 Draw an oblong oval to form the legs.
6. 6 Draw half of the triangles to the left and right under the head. Use smooth, curved lines.
7. 7 Circle with a pen.
8. 8 Color as you like looking like Piplap!

Method 4 of 4: Fennekin

1. 1 Draw a small circle with a cross section.
2. 2 Draw loops from the circles to form bunny ears.
3. 3 Draw the fur from the ears using wave-like shapes or lines.
4. 4 Draw the eyes and details of the face, nose and mouth. Draw the cat's eyes.
5. 5 Draw the body using irregular elongated shapes and the shape of the tail lamp.
6. 6 Draw the limbs using smooth, curved lines.
7. 7 Refine the drawing and add fur and tail details.
8. 8 Circle with a pen and erase unnecessary lines.
9. 9 Color as you like!
