You can use iPad to shoot videos, give directions, and remind yourself to wish your mom a happy birthday, but unfortunately it does not support the Adobe Flash platform. Flash is used on websites, animations and videos on the web. In order to view Flash content, you will need to install a browser application that can access Flash sites.

Steps

1. 1 Download a browser app that supports Flash from the App Store. The Puffin Browser is one of the options that offers a free version.
2. 2 Tap the Safari icon to launch the Safari browser.
3. 3 Open the site you want and double-tap the URL address bar. Tap Select all from the menu that appears.
4. 4 Tap Copy in the next menu that appears.
5. 5 From the iPad Home Page, launch a Flash-compatible browser by tapping its icon.
6. 6 Tap the address bar in the app and tap the X to clear the current website address.
7. 7 Tap the URL address bar again and tap Insert in the menu that appears. Now tap Go on the onscreen keyboard.
8. 8 The Flash site should now be visible on your iPad.

Tips

• It is best to use such a browser on a Wi-Fi connection, as it will speed up website performance on your iPad.

Warnings

• Some Flash sites with games and movies will not be as fast and responsive as if they were on the computer desktop while browsing this method.
