Unicorns are special animals that were only added in the PC / Mac versions of the game. They have level 10 running and jumping skills (if you took them into the family, don't breed them until they grow up) and many other abilities that are used at the behest of the sim. They can: teleport, consecrate fauna, curse fauna, consecrate / curse plants and sims or pets, light and extinguish fires. They have 60 points of magic. Several of these points are consumed for each ability. If the glasses run out by half, the unicorn will receive the status 'lack of power', and when there are no glasses left, the message will change to 'power failure'. To "refuel", let the unicorn, so to speak, be the unicorn. Relax.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Adopting a Unicorn into a Family

1. 1 Find three pets, they must be large (horse, unicorn, cat or dog) as small pets (turtles, fish, birds, lizards, snakes or rodents) do not count.
2. 2 Unicorns only show up between 8pm and 5am, so every night, switch to map mode and simultaneously spy on both fishing spots or science center (Cinnamon Falls or Water Treatment Plant) from 8pm to 5am.
3. 3 Continue doing this until a glowing cloud forms over the fish spot. There is a unicorn underneath.
4. 4 Keep your relationship with your pets at the highest possible level, interact with the unicorn and take him into the family when the opportunity arises. The family acceptance option will be grayed out if you already have the maximum number of pets (maximum 6). Click on this option and he / she will accept your offer, saying, "You have proven that you are a friend to all animals, and I will follow you wherever you say."

Method 2 of 3: Using cheats to get a unicorn

1. 1 Find a cloud.
2. 2 Press Ctrl shift C at the same time. A box will appear at the top. Enter the command testingcheatsenabled true there.
3. 3 Shift-click the unicorn. You can click on the unicorn to add it to your family. The unicorn is now yours and can produce offspring.

Method 3 of 3: Turning a Horse into a Unicorn

1. 1 Buy a horse.
2. 2 Have your Sim go to the fishing spot with a horse.
3. 3 Look around and see if there is a wild horse nearby. If not, then it won't work.
4. 4 Pet a wild horse until he is no longer afraid of you.
5. 5 Bring the wild horse and your tamed horse so close that their necks appear glued together.
6. 6 Go to the profile of the sim (the sim who went to the fishing spot). Click between the skins of the two horses.
7. 7 Wait until a window appears in the upper right corner of the screen. It will feature a dog and a cat on a blue field with space for text.
8. 8 Type Unicorn in the field.
9. 9 Your "already adopted" horse should turn into an "already adopted" unicorn.

Tips

• If you remove the lack of power moodlet using the testingcheatsenabled true cheat, the unicorn power will be permanently removed!
• When a unicorn drinks, eats, or chews food, a rainbow grows out of its horn. Their fur shines, and shines more strongly in the dark.
• Unicorns won't run away from you like regular wild horses. To adopt a unicorn into a family, you do not need to have 8 riding skill as is the case with wild horses.
• Unicorns are the fastest creatures, which means they will always win races (almost always).
• There are only gray, black and white unicorns in nature. Their horns are the same color as their hide. You can distinguish between male and female by the fact that males have a beard and tail like a lion - by adopting a unicorn into a family, you can change whether it has a lion's tail and a beard or not, the color of the horn and other common things in the saddle edit mode ... When they stand still, a small bush grows at their left foot (when viewed from the front), which bends in the wind. Male unicorns are more common than females.
• NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) cannot accept unicorns into their family, so you will be the only ones with their own magical pet!
• A child sim can adopt a unicorn into a family (but cannot ride it, children cannot ride horses).
• The same unicorn will stay in your city until you take him into your family.
• Unicorns start with 1-3 traits (if adopted), one of which is always 'brave'.
• Care for your unicorn like any other horse.
• When using abilities, their eyes and horn shine: Ignite = orange, curse = red, extinguish = blue, teleport = white / green, consecrate = green / white.
