If you've ever tried to kill a fly with both hands, you know how difficult it is. Try one of these methods to learn how to kill flies without a fly swatter at any time.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Cotton with your hands

1. 1 Place your arms at the sides of the fly, 30 cm apart on each side. Your hands should be positioned in the following way: palms facing the fly, and fingers clasped together, as if you want to spank something. Also, your hands should be 2 to 3 cm above the surface on which the fly is sitting.
2. 2 Approach the fly slowly. Bring your hands closer as if you are about to grab it between your palms (palms upright).
3. 3 When your hands are about 15 cm from the fly on each side, quickly snap them together. Do this directly over the fly - this is extremely important.

Method 2 of 2: Eraser

This method is very effective when tracking down a fly that is keeping you awake!

1. 1 Find two thin rubber bands. Tie them together.
2. 2 Shoot the fly at the fly like a slingshot. Most of your attempts will be “smeared”. It totally depends on your accuracy.
3. 3 Try to hit the fly as accurately as possible. You can do this if you move slowly. The closer the goal, the better the result.

Tips

• You can also kill the fly with a rolled newspaper.
• There is another way to implement this idea. Hold one hand (“first”) as if you are going to hit a fly with it. Then, with the other hand (“second”), pull and hold the first hand (try to do this with your index finger). Using your other hand as a trigger, throw your first hand into the fly with the catapult.

Warnings

• Flies are the dirtiest creatures. While this sounds mundane, it's your responsibility to wash your hands with warm water and soap, not just dry them off.
