1 Preparing the dough.- In a large bowl, combine flour, nutmeg and margarine until well combined (use your hands to get a smooth texture).
- Stir the salt and water separately and gradually add to the dry mixture.
- Knead the dough thoroughly until you are perfect.
- Cut the dough into three or four pieces.
- Roll out the dough until it is 3–6 mm thick.
- Then shape your dough into the shape you want.
- Combine carrots, onions, green peppers, and chop in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl to garnish and cool the patties.
- Place the filling on your cut dough pieces: 1 tablespoon on one side.
- Cover with the other side.
- Use your fingers or the bottom edge of a fork to press down on the folded edge of the patty.
- Spread an egg on top.
- Bake the patties in the oven at 190 ° C for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. The presented recipe provides for the preparation of up to seven servings of 2 pies each.
