Here's an interesting idea that you can get a little fancy with and prepare something special for the next kids' party. Bake muffins in pre-made ice cream waffle cups. You can prepare them ahead of time and serve them at a party, or you can decorate chilled cupcakes with icing and sprinkling with your kids.

Ingredients

  • Commercial or homemade muffin dough
  • Ice Cream Waffle Cups
  • Glaze of your choice
  • Confectionery powder (optional)

Steps

  1. 1 Make muffin batter. Use ready-made dough or make your favorite by following the recipe.
  2. 2 Unroll the ice cream waffle cups carefully, being careful not to damage them. Place them in the compartments on the muffin pan. The form does not need to be greased.
  3. 3 Fill each cup. Fill each waffle cup with dough.
    • Leave some space at the top for expansion (about 1 cm).
    • Don't put too much dough in the cups. The ice cream scoop holds just the right amount of dough.Do not overfill the cups, so that it is easier to decorate them later, and the dough does not spill out during baking:
    • In this picture, you can see what a waffle cup looks like after baking if too much dough has been placed in it.
  4. 4 Bake the same for the same amount of time as regular muffins.
  5. 5 Prepare the icing or open the finished package.
  6. 6 Place the pastry powder in a small bowl.
  7. 7 Remove muffins from oven and let cool.
  8. 8 Use a knife or spatula to glaze the cupcakes. Heat the frosting lightly if it was in the refrigerator, as cold icing is harder to apply.
  9. 9 Dip the top of the muffins into the confectionery powder, if desired. You can powder the cupcakes completely or on one side only.
  10. 10 Place the muffins back in the pan or in the rimmed dish. Carry them very carefully as they can easily fall off.
  11. 11 Serve and Enjoy!

Tips

  • You can make these cupcakes for any party, and choose the color of the powder in accordance with the holiday.
  • Don't overfill the cup with dough so it doesn't look messy.

Warnings

  • Eat these muffins the same day or the moisture in the dough will soften the waffle cups.
  • Don't use too much frosting to prevent the top of the cupcake from getting too heavy as they will fall off.

What do you need

  • 24 flat-bottomed waffle ice cream cups
  • Ingredients for the dough
  • Glaze (500 ml is more than enough)
  • Cupcake mold
  • Ice cream scoop
  • Confectionery powder
