Chicharron is a delicious way to cook pork skins, popular in Spain and throughout Latin America. This traditional dish can be prepared with a few simple ingredients. This article will show you exactly how.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of pork skin or fat (preferably skin)
- Large amounts of vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons of vinegar for every 1 kg of lard
Steps
1 Boil the pork for 45 minutes with the salt in the broth.
2 Sprinkle the pork with vinegar.
3 Place in oven to dry or dry in the sun. You can also use a hairdryer, but this will take longer.
4 Fry the Chicharron in a large amount of oil until it floats.
5 If you want a spicy chicharrone, rub the pepper into it before frying.
6 Ready.
