The HD extension can have a big impact on the overall video quality. So how do you do this for your videos with Sony Vegas? Read on to find out.

Steps

1. 1 After completing your video, open File and Render As... "This will open the edit screen where you can select the edit options.
2. 2 Change "Template" to "8 Mbps HD 1080 - 30p Video.“This alone will convert the video to HD, but there are a few settings that need to be changed before getting the full HD effect.
3. 3 Change Project Quality to Best. To do this, click "Custom ...", then "Project". Change the Video Rendering Quality option to "Best" from there.
4. 4 Click "OK," then "Save," to start converting! It will take a little time, but the video quality is worth it.

Warnings

• Converting to HD requires a lot of resources, so do not open other programs, or it may crash.
