In WhatsApp, you can see if your contacts are online and when they were last logged in. Although the status of all contacts cannot be seen at once, nothing prevents you from checking the status of each of them.

Steps

1. 1 Open the WhatsApp app.
2. 2 Click on the Chats menu.
3. 3 Click on Conversation. Select a chat with the user whose status you want to check.
   • If you have not started a conversation with the user whose status you want to check, you will have to create a new chat. Click on the chat icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
4. 4 Take a look at the user's status. If he is online, his name will be written “online”.Otherwise, "was ..." will be written under his name.
   • "Online" means that the user is currently using the application.
   • "Was ..." means that the user last used the application at the specified time.
   • If the user tries to contact you somehow, you will see a “typing” or “recording audio” alert.

Tips

• At the moment, the user's status is not displayed in his profile. This can only be done in the chat window.
