Do you want to catch Latios or Latias with Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver? This is possible, but it can be challenging.

Steps

1. 1 Discover every location in Kanto. Go to Saffron City and talk to Copycat. She will ask for help in getting her Poke Doll back.
2. 2 Go to Vermilion City and enter the Pokéfan building. Talk to the guy at the table in the center of the screen and he will give you the doll.
3. 3 If you go out, Steven (Hoenn champion) will tell you a few things. He will talk about Latios in Soul Silver and Latias in Heart Gold.
4. 4 Latios (SS) / Latias (HG) will appear on the map. Catch the Latios / Latias. A good way to catch Latios / Latias is Route 4, next to Cerulean City.
5. 5 To catch Latias (HG, but now SS) or Latios (SS, but now HG), you need a cheat item. It was in the event. If you have Action Replay, you can use the code from the What You Need section. Get Enigma Stone from Pokemart. You will see a green man who will give you the stone.
6. 6 Go to Pewter City and enter the Mining Museum. Talk to Steven and he will ask you to give the Enigma Stone to the scientist. The Scientist will give you Soul Dew.
7. 7 Exit and Latias (SS) or Latios (HG) will be outside. Fight Pokemon!

Tips

• Take a Pokémon with status effects like Sleep or Paralysis. Such effects will help in capturing Pokémon.
• They are level 40, so take Pokémon of the same level or higher.
• Save before the battle. If you accidentally scare them off or run out of Poke Ball, you can restart the game.
• Take a lot of Ultra Ball!
• Take the new Master Ball if you want to count.

Warnings

• Action Replay can ruin your game.
• Do not use other people's codes, they can erase the game file.
• Latias and Latios can be powerful.
