The most important criterion for choosing a makeup color is the determination of the skin tone. By using inappropriate shades, you can give your skin a yellowish unhealthy color that will contrast strongly with the color of your clothes.
Steps
1 Choose cool shades if:- Your skin is olive, pinkish brown or slightly pinkish.
- You have dark, black, blonde, or brown hair other than a golden brown hue.
- Your eyes are blue, green or hazel
2 Choose warm shades if:- Your skin tone is golden or pale.
- Your hair is golden brown, reddish, or tawny blonde.
- You have brown, dark, or light brown eyes.
Method 1 of 2: Shadows
1 What colors? If you have a dark skin tone, use lighter eyeshadows such as pale pinks or silvers. Sometimes, if you apply correctly, you can use golden eyeshadow. If you have fair skin tone, go for brown, purple and even dark blue eyeshadows. If you have tanned skin, wear purple or pink eyeshadow.
Method 2 of 2: Powder
1 How light is the shade? If you have pale skin, don't use a very dark bronze shade. Use a light creamy one. If you have dark or tanned skin, it doesn't really matter as long as you use a powder that is not too light. 
2 Ready.
Tips
- Always test your makeup in natural light. Artificial light always hides any inaccuracies when using mascara or applying lipstick.
- Always be yourself. And remember that you are beautiful with or without makeup.
- If your skin, eye, and hair color does not fit a certain category, then use cool shades on areas with cold skin tones, and warm ones on areas with warm ones. For example, you can use cool blush and warm eyeshadow.
- Not every person fits neatly into one of these categories.
- Ask your makeup artist for advice, as we are all different.
