Stickers are pictures that you can attach to your messages, which increases their variability much more than traditional emoticons and emojis. There are hundreds of sticker apps available in your device's app store, but WhatsApp allows you to attach any image to your messages. This means that you can use any picture as a sticker.

Method 1 of 2: Sticker Maker Apps

1. 1 Understand how stickers work. WhatsApp itself does not support them. Instead, you can attach them yourself to the message. There are several applications that contain collections of images that look like traditional stickers. You can add them to your messages so that the recipient can see them.
   • Unfortunately, because there are no stickers in WhatsApp, you cannot use animated stickers in WhatsApp. However, short video clips can be transmitted.
2. 2 Open the app store. There are many applications to choose from that offer thousands of different stickers for WhatsApp and similar instant messaging services. Similar apps are equally available for iOS and Android devices.
3. 3 Find a sticker app. When revisiting apps, skip those that require too many permissions. Read reviews to see if the app works for other WhatsApp users. Many sticker apps only have a small selection of free stickers. The most popular applications include:
   • Emojidom (Android)
   • Smileys and Memes for Chat (Android)
   • Stickers Free (iOS)
   • Funny Emoji Stickers (iOS)
4. 4 Launch the app to find the sticker. Most apps have stickers organized into different categories. They also have a set of free stickers to pair with those that you have to pay for. Find the perfect sticker for your message.
5. 5 Click on the sticker you want to use.
6. 6 Clicking on a sticker will copy it to the clipboard. Go back to the message, click on the text field in the conversation and select "Paste."
   • Emojidom - Emojidom contains keyboard and text screen. Type your message and enter the pictures you want. Click the "Send" button when done and then select "WhatsApp application". You can also click on the "Attach" button in WhatsApp and select a picture there.
   • Smileys and Memes for Chat - Tap on the sticker you want to send to WhatsApp. Once the sticker is selected, tap on WhatsApp in the bottom right corner. Make any edits you want, then click Finish. Whatsapp will open and you can select the conversation you want to add it to.
   • Stickers Free - Click on the sticker you want to add to your WhatsApp conversation. Select "WhatsApp" from the list of messaging applications. Click "open in WhatsApp" to launch the application. Select the conversation you want to attach the sticker to.
   • ChatStickerz - Find and click on the sticker you want to add to WhatsApp. Select WhatsApp from the list of apps. If you don't see on WhatsApp, click on "Details" and then add to WhatsApp. Select the conversation you want to add the sticker to.

Method 2 of 2: Using different images

1. 1 Understand how stickers work in WhatsApp, it is similar to how pictures work. Since WhatsApp does not support stickers, you can only send a picture. You can find sticker image files online, and then save the data to send stickers to WhatsApp.
   • WhatsApp has animated pictures. Only the first frame will be reflected in the message.
2. 2 Decide which image you want to send as a sticker. You can send any image through WhatsApp, so you can use any image you like. You can download any image from the Internet that you think would be perfect as a sticker.
3. 3 Save the image to your device. When you find an image you like, tap and hold on it until the image menu opens. Select "Save Image" to download the image to the Photos or Gallery app on your device.
4. 4 Attach a photo to your WhatsApp message. Click on the "Attach" button on the conversation screen and find the folder with images. The saved image can be located in a folder called Downloads.
5. 5 Select the picture you want to use as a sticker. The smaller the image, the more it will look like a sticker.
