If you have Mac OS and want to install some software like Google Chrome or LimeWire, then you need to find out the version of your system.
Steps
1 Click on the Apple icon (in the upper left corner of the screen).
2 Click About Computer.
3 Find the line "Version", which indicates the version of the system.
4 Download the appropriate software. For example, Google Chrome supports 10.5 or later versions of the system.
Tips
- If your desktop is blue with curly lines, then you have Mac OS version 10.4 or lower.
- If the Dock is at the bottom and in 3D, then you have Mac OS version 10.5 or higher.
