Steps

Method 1 of 4: Through a secure site

1. 1 Go to the blocked site. You will see the familiar "site blocked" message. Even a weakly configured Sonicwall firewall will block all installed sites.
2. 2Add the letter "S" to the end of "HTTP". In the address bar, change the address from “http://www.example.com” to “https://www.example.com”. Thus, you will try to download the encrypted version of the site. It won't work if the site doesn't support encryption.
3. 3 Try to load the site. If Sonicwall has been poorly configured, using this method you should be able to access the site you want. If it doesn't work, go to the next method described in this article.

Method 2 of 4: Proxy

1. 1 Find a list of proxy servers. The web proxy will connect to the desired site through a helper server that processes and renders the page for you.This will trick your network into thinking that you are visiting some unknown and unblocked website.
   • There are several sites with a list of proxy servers that you can use. Proxy.org is a great place to start, and it also updates the list regularly.
   • There is a possibility that sites with proxy lists, such as Proxy.org, could be blocked by the school or work network. Go to the site at home and make a list of 10-15 proxy sites to try them on a locked computer.
   • Frequently used proxy servers can be seen and blocked, so use different ones all the time.
   • Using a proxy server will noticeably slow down your browser speed. This happens because traffic is redirected through a proxy server, rethought, and then sent to you. Videos and websites may take longer to load.
2. 2 Select a site with a proxy. If the site is blocked, try another one. When choosing sites from the list, give preference to those that are geographically closer to you. This will help minimize the loss of speed. Using proxy servers from other countries will load the page in that country's language.
3. 3 Choose an address. Enter the address of the site you want to visit. Since proxy sites replay the data of the site you want to visit, there is a possibility that the site may not load correctly. This will most likely interfere with the download of the video. In this case, try to open the site through a different proxy.

Method 3 of 4: Via the Tor software package

1. 1 Download the Tor software package. Tor is a free proxy server system that allows you to remain anonymous when visiting sites through your browser. Method 4 of 4: Via Remote Desktop
