1 Start by using a light color. Light blue in particular, or yellow, will not appear when scanning or copying a drawing, so you don't have to erase it. When you are happy with your picture, move the best lines to black.

2 Draw a circle, which will be the head of a man.

3 Draw a rectangleattached to the person's head with a small line that leaves room for the neck to be drawn. The rectangle will be the cartoon's chest and belly.

4 Draw two straight legs. person.

12 Draw a shirt on a person.

13 Draw and detail fingers of your little man. Some people find it more interesting to draw only three fingers and a thumb, but that is up to you.

14 Add data to the rest of your man, including his pants and boots. Do not forget that the heels go beyond the line of the legs.

• Using a pencil instead of a pen or marker can be helpful because it’s much easier to correct any mistakes — you can simply erase the mistakes and start over.
