Dolphins are adored all over the world. They are beautiful, friendly and very smart. However, drawing them is not so easy - right? ...

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Traditional Dolphin

1. 1 Draw a shape that resembles an airplane wing.
2. 2 Draw an oblong oval at the top right of the wing.
3. 3 Draw the dolphin's face or mouth.
4. 4 Draw a tail, using a triangle as a base, at the bottom of the plane's wing.
5. 5 Add curves to the triangle to form the tail, and paint the dolphin's eyes.
6. 6 Circle the main lines with a pen and erase unnecessary lines.
7. 7 Color as you like!

Method 2 of 2: Cartoon Dolphin

1. 1 Draw a curve that looks a bit like the italic lowercase “r”.
2. 2 Draw a “U” shape that connects to the top end of the first line.
3. 3 Connect one end of the “U” line to the other end of the first line, and then draw a shape to form the dolphin's belly.
4. 4 Draw a fin on the dolphin's back that looks like the slanted line of the lowercase “n”.
5. 5 Draw a tail that should resemble something in between a boomerang and an upside-down heart.
6. 6 Draw a “U” shaped line inside the torso for the side fin.
7. 7 Draw a mouth and an eye and your dolphin is ready.
