This article will show you how to change the voice of your Alexa smart speaker and teach it to speak English with a different accent. The Alexa speaker speaks a female voice and has American, Canadian, Australian, Indian and British accents. Steps

1. 1 Open the Alexa app. Its icon looks like a light blue cloud of text with a white outline.

Tips

• If you don't speak with the same regional accent as Alexa, the speaker may have difficulty recognizing your voice. If you encounter this, try to portray an accent or speak without an accent at all.
