In order not to be late, it is very important to know the exact time and date. For this, in our time, people increasingly rely on their smartphones. But what if the time and date on the smartphone is not set or is set incorrectly? The answer is very simple - put it yourself! Setting the time and date is incredibly quick and easy.

Steps

1. 1 Open the settings menu. On the desktop, click on the settings icon. In the settings menu, you can change phone settings, such as connecting to Wi-Fi, changing application behavior, or activating Do Not Disturb mode.
2. 2 Click the General tab. This tab contains not-so-well-known features like gesture control, side switch function selection, and app customization.
3. 3 Click on the "Date and Time" button. It's in the middle of the General menu.
4. 4 Turn off automatic date and time setting. By default, the phone sets the date and time automatically via Wi-Fi or cellular connection. When this function is off, the time zone, date and time can be set by yourself.
   • Click the radio button next to the text "Automatic" to manually set the date and time.
5. 5 Select your time zone. When you turn off automatic date and time setting, you can change the time zone. Click on the "Time Zone" option and enter the location with the appropriate time zone.
6. 6 Change the date and time. The date and time can be seen under the current time zone.
   • Click on the date and time. You will see the date and time under the time zone after you turn off the "Automatic" option.
   • Swipe your finger across each column to select the date and time you want. You will see a wheel with which you can select both the date and time at the same time.
   • If the year is set incorrectly, turn the wheel until you find the correct one.
7. 7 Swipe down on the screen. This will open the notification center, where you can view notifications, today's date, and the calendar of events.
8. 8 Click Today. You will see the date, time and weather. That's all! If the date and time are still incorrect, open the Date and Time menu in the General tab to change them to the correct ones.
