Temple Run is a game for iOS and Android that has become widely popular.While the concept of the game is very simple, it can be challenging at times. With a few tips and a little workout, you can achieve and possibly even break your friends' records. Have fun!

Steps

1. 1 Download Temple Run. Since this game is very popular, you can easily find it on the App Store or Google Play. It does not take up much space on the device and the download does not take long with good internet speed. Oh, by the way, the game is free!
2. 2 Start the game. Launching the game instantly takes you to the introductory page. Here you have the ability to access goals, statistics, settings, store or other games from Imagi. You can also dive directly into the game by clicking the Play button.
3. 3 Keep running. The moment you clicked the Play button, you already ventured to take the idol (as the start page shows). That being said, the goal in Temple Run is to escape with the priceless idol. Throughout the game, you will encounter a number of obstacles such as tree roots, fire gargoyles, and various breaks on the surface of the temple. You will also be pursued by the "Evil Monkey Demons". They are always behind you, so if you make a mistake several times, they will grab you, which will lead to the end of the game.
4. 4 Get trained. At the beginning of your escape from the evil monkeys, you will go through a short tutorial. Complete it to learn the basics of Temple Run. Control simple screen movements and tilt your device.
   • To turn, swipe your finger in a quick, light motion in the direction you want to run. Swipe slowly and you will run along the edge of the temple.

7. 7 Buy bonuses. This is an easy way to increase your score. Bonuses appear as floating icons above the surface of the temple. Just jump after them. While these bonuses are useful, they don't have long lasting effects. As mentioned, if you particularly like a certain bonus, you can continue to upgrade it with coins to fully upgrade it. There are five bonuses in Temple Run.
   • Mega Coin: The icon will automatically give you more coins.
   • Coin Magnet: For a limited period of time, coins will be attracted to you, no matter which part of the temple you are in.
   • Invisibility: For a limited period of time, you don't have to jump or slide. Don't forget that you still have to turn!
   • Acceleration: When you catch the acceleration icon, your character will run at high speed, automatically dodging all obstacles. All you need to do is watch your character run!
8. 8 Complete your goals. The game may seem one-pronged, but there are also objectives available to complete and get even more bonuses. These goals include collecting a certain number of points (Rogue), distance (Sprinter) and other statistics.
