In this article, we are going to show you how to insert page numbers in Google Docs on iPhone / iPad.
Steps
1 Launch Google Docs on iPhone / iPad. Tap the blue paper icon with white lines and a curled corner. This icon is on the home screen.
2 Tap the document where you want to add page numbers. The document will open.
3 Click on +. This icon is in the upper right corner of the screen. The Insert menu appears at the bottom of the screen.
4 Scroll down the menu and tap Page number. A list of page number positions opens.
5 Select the desired position. You can choose one of four positions - they indicate where the numbers will be on the page. The page numbers will be inserted immediately.
- First position - the number will be displayed in the upper right corner of the page, starting from the first page.
- Second position - the number will be displayed in the upper right corner of the page, starting from the second page.
- Third position - the number will be displayed in the lower right corner of the page, starting from the first page.
- Fourth position - the number will be displayed in the lower right corner of the page, starting from the second page.
