This article will show you how to save contact information (phone number, address, etc.) of a person or company on iPhone.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Using the Contacts app

1. 1 Open the Contacts app. It's a gray icon with a silhouette of a person and colored tabs on the right side.
   • Alternatively, open the Phone app and tap Contacts at the bottom of the screen.
2. 2 Click +. This button is in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. 3 Enter the contact's name. To do this, use the lines "Name", "Surname" and "Company"; enter information that will help you quickly find this contact.
4. 4 Click Add Phone. This option is located under the line "Company". The "Phone" text line opens.
5. 5 Enter your phone number. You must enter at least 10 digits.
   • Fewer digits can be entered if it is a special service telephone number.
   • If the phone number is registered in another country, enter the appropriate country code in front of it (for example, “+1” for the United States or “+44” for the United Kingdom).
   • You can also change the type of phone number; click "Home" (to the left of the "Phone" line), and then select the desired option (for example, "Cellular").
6. 6 Enter additional contact information. To do this, use the appropriate lines. You can enter your email address, birthday, street address and social media accounts.
7. 7 Click Finish. This button is in the upper right corner of the screen. This will add a new contact to your iPhone.

Method 2 of 3: Using the Messages app

1. 1 Open the Messages app. It's a green icon with a white text bubble.
2. 2 Click on the conversation. Select the person whose contacts you want to save on iPhone.
   • If any conversation is open in the Messages window, click the Back button () in the upper left corner to view a list of all conversations.
3. 3 Click on the blue ⓘ. It's in the upper right corner of the screen.
4. 4 Click on the person's phone number. You will find it at the top of the screen.
   • If there are several numbers in the opened conversation, click on the one that you want to add to your contacts.
5. 5 Click Create Contact. It's near the bottom of the screen.
6. 6 Enter the contact's name. To do this, use the lines "Name", "Surname" and "Company"; enter information that will help you quickly find this contact.

2. 2 Click Recent. It's at the bottom of the screen (to the right of the Favorites option).
3. 3 Click on the blue ⓘ to the right of the number you want to save. A list of options will open.
4. 4 Click Create Contact. It's near the bottom of the screen.
5. 5 Enter the contact's name. To do this, use the lines "Name", "Surname" and "Company"; enter information that will help you quickly find this contact.
