This article will show you how to block websites on your Android device using the BlockSite app. It can be downloaded for free in the Play Store.

Steps

1. 1 Install the BlockSite app. It can be downloaded for free in the Play Store. For this:
   • Open Play Store .
   • In the search bar, enter BlockSite.
   • Click on "BlockSite".
   • Tap Install.
2. 2 Start BlockSite. On the Application Bar, click on the orange shield-shaped icon with a white circle through it. You can also click "Open" in the Play Store.
3. 3 Click on Enable (Activate). You will find this green button at the bottom of the screen when you first launch BlockSite. The application will now block sites in all installed browsers.
4. 4 Tap Got it (To accept). You will find this option at the bottom of the popup that explains how to enable access for BlockSite. Access settings will open.
5. 5 Tap BlockSite. You will find this option in the Services section at the bottom of the Access Settings page.
6. 6 Move the slider from the Off position to the "Enable" position . If the slider is grayed out, BlockSite access is disabled. If the slider is blue, access is enabled. When you move the slider to the "Enable" position, a pop-up window will open.
7. 7 Click on OK. You will find this button in the lower right corner of the pop-up window. BlockSite will now monitor the applications being used and the pages it opens to block unwanted sites. You will then be returned to the BlockSite app.
   • You may need to enter your device PIN or scan your fingerprint.
8. 8 Tap the green button . You will find it in the lower right corner of the screen.
9. 9 Enter the URL of the site you want to block. For example, to block Facebook, enter facebook.com.
10. 10 Tap the icon . You will find it in the upper right corner of the screen. The specified site will be blocked in all browsers installed on the device. When you try to open this site, a message will appear on the screen stating that the site is blocked.
    • To remove a site from the blacklist, launch the BlockSite app and then click the icon at the site address.
    • You can also click on the slider next to “Block Adult Websites” to block all adult websites.
