This article will show you how to delete any posts you post on Facebook as well as delete comments. Remember that while you can report another person's post for inappropriate content, you cannot delete their post unless it is on your site.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Delete the post on the computer

1. 

   Open Facebook. Visit https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer browser. If you are logged into Facebook, your home page will automatically appear.
   • If you are not logged into Facebook, first enter your email address (or phone number) in the box on the right corner of the screen and press. Log In (Log in).

   Click on your name. This option is to the right of the search bar at the top of the Facebook page.

   • If you are deleting a friend tag from someone else's post, select Remove Tag (Delete card) then press OK.

Method 2 of 4: Delete posts on phone

1. 

   Open Facebook. Click on the Facebook app icon, the letter "f" is white on a dark blue background. If you are logged into Facebook, your home page will be displayed.
   • If you aren't logged into Facebook, enter your email address and password before getting started.

   Press ☰. This button is in the bottom-right corner of the screen (for iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (on Android).
   • If you want to delete your posts on someone else's wall, enter their name in the search bar at the top of the screen, then tap the "Searcho" button on the phone, then select their account from the list. result.

Method 3 of 4: Delete comments on computer

1. 

   Open Facebook. Visit https://www.facebook.com/ on your computer's network interface. If you are logged into Facebook, the homepage will appear.
   • If you are not logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or phone number) in the field in the upper right corner of the screen and press. Log In.

   Go to the comment you posted. This can be a comment on your post or someone else's.
   • To go to your wall, click on your name in the top right corner of the homepage.
   • You can also delete comments on other people's posts, but you cannot delete comments on other people's posts.

   Mouse over that comment. You should see a light gray three dots appear to the right of the comment.

   Press ⋯. This button is to the right of that comment. A drop-down screen will appear.
   • If you want to delete comments that someone left on your post, another screen will appear.

   Press Delete .... You will find this button in the drop-down menu.
   • Skip this step if you want to delete other people's comments on your posts.

Method 4 of 4: Delete comment on phone device

   Find the comment you posted. These can be comments on your own posts or comments you wrote under someone else's posts.

   • You can also delete comments that other people write on your posts, but you cannot delete their comments from other people's posts.

   Long press on that comment. After a moment, a menu will appear.

Advice

• If you have to go to another user's wall while trying to delete a post or comment, you may have to click on their name on a different page after selecting it in the search bar.

Warning

• When you tag a post, the name you delete does not delete the post from Facebook.
