Watching YouTube videos is pretty easy - you just need to open the YouTube website or launch the YouTube mobile app.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: YouTube App (iOS)

1. 1 Launch the App Store app.
2. 2 Click on Search. You will find this magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. 3 Enter youtube.
4. 4 Tap YouTube. This is the first option in the dropdown menu.
5. 5 Click YouTube.
6. 6 Tap Download. You will find this option in the upper right corner.
   • If you've downloaded YouTube before, you'll see a cloud icon with an arrow instead of the option.
7. 7 Click on Install.
8. 8 Enter your Apple ID and password if asked.
9. 9 Wait for YouTube to download to your device.
10. 10 Launch the YouTube app.
11. 11 Click on the magnifying glass icon. You will find it in the upper right corner.
12. 12 Enter a search term (for example, video title).
13. 13 Tap To find.
14. 14 Click on the desired video. It will be played.
    • Tap the screen to pause the video. Tap the screen again to continue watching.
15. 15 Click Share. This icon looks like a right-pointing arrow; it is under the roller.
16. 16 Tap the option you want. Choose one of the following options:
    • Link
    • Facebook
    • Gmail
    • Twitter
    • Email
    • Message
    • Whatsapp
    • More (use the SMS messaging app)
17. 17 Follow the instructions on the screen. So you've watched the video and even shared it.

Method 2 of 3: YouTube app (Android)

1. 1 Launch Play Store.
2. 2 Tap the magnifying glass icon.
3. 3 Enter youtube.
4. 4 Tap To find.
5. 5 Click YouTube.
6. 6 Tap Install.
7. 7 Click on To accept, if required.
8. 8 Wait for YouTube to download to your device.
9. 9 Tap the YouTube app icon.
10. 10 Click on the magnifying glass icon. You will find it in the upper right corner.
11. 11 Enter a search term (for example, video title).
12. 12 Click on To find.
13. 13 Click on the desired video. It will be played.
    • Tap the screen to pause the video. Tap the screen again to continue watching.
14. 14 Click Share. This icon looks like a right-pointing arrow; it is above the roller.
    • If there is no icon, tap the video.
15. 15 Tap the option you want. Choose one of the following options:
    • Link
    • Facebook
    • Gmail
    • Twitter
    • Email
    • Message
    • Whatsapp
    • More (use the SMS messaging app)
16. 16 Follow the instructions on the screen. So you've watched the video and even shared it.

Method 3 of 3: YouTube website (computer)

1. 1 Open the site Youtube.
2. 2 Click on the "Search" field. You will find it at the top of the page.
3. 3 Enter a search term (for example, video title).
4. 4 Click on ↵ Enter. You can also click the magnifying glass to the right of the search bar.
5. 5 Click on the desired video. It will be played.
   • Click on the video to pause it. Click on the video again to continue watching.
6. 6 Click on Share this. This icon looks like a right-pointing arrow; it is under the roller.
7. 7 Right click on the highlighted video URL. You can also click on the name of one of the social networks that appear on the screen.
8. 8 Click on Copy.
9. 9 Paste the video address where needed. To do this, right-click on a text field (for example, in an email field or in a status field) and then click Insert.
10. 10 Return to the video. So you've watched the video and even shared it.

• On YouTube, you can find videos for all tastes - from serious news to the funniest comedies.

Warnings

• Opening YouTube on a computer with limited access, such as a school computer, will most likely fail.
• Many people spend a lot of time watching videos without even noticing it, so watch yourself.
