This article will guide you to permanently delete Tik Tok account on Android phone, iPhone or iPad. Upon deleting your account, your account will be "deactivated" within 30 days. If you don't sign in again during that time, all account data and content will be permanently deleted.

Steps

1. 

   . This icon is a human figure in the lower right corner of the screen.
   • If you are not logged in, you need to log in at this step.

   Click the ellipsis icon ••• in the upper right corner of the screen.

   Select item Manage My Account (Account Management) at the top.

   Scroll down and select Delete Account (Delete the account). This option is at the bottom of the Account Management screen. You will receive a confirmation message deleting the account from the app.
   • If you sign up for an account with another app like Twitter or Facebook, you'll need to tap Verify and Continue (Verify and continue) to log into that app before receiving the confirmation of account deletion.

   Press the red button Delete Account (Delete account) at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation window will be displayed.
   • Depending on your account settings, you might be asked to verify your phone number and enter a confirmation code to continue. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm if required.

   Press the button Delete (Delete) to confirm. You will be immediately logged out of Tik Tok. Your account is now deactivated and other users will not be able to see the videos you have posted on the app.
   • If you change your mind, you can sign in 30 days before the expiration to reactivate your account.

Warning

• You cannot undo the deletion of an account, all information including usernames, videos, fans, and likes on the account will disappear. Cached information (such as a conversation) will still be visible to the recipient.
