Steps

Method 1 of 4: On Safari

1. 

   Open the Settings section of the iPhone. This gray app is gears shaped and is located on the Home screen.

   Scroll down and tap Safari. Applications are located about 1/3 below the "Settings" page.

3. 

   Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data (Clear website history and data). This button is near the bottom of the "Safari" page.

   Click Clear History and Data (Clear history and data). This option is at the bottom of the screen. Search history, form data, and cache files will be deleted from Safari. advertisement

Method 2 of 4: On Chrome

1. 

   
   
   Open Chrome. This app comes in red, yellow, and green with a blue sphere inside.

2. 

   Click the image button ⋮ in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. 

   Click on the option Settings is near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

   Click on the option Privacy (Private) is near the bottom of the page.

5. 

   Click Clear Browsing Data (Clear browsing data). This action is at the bottom of the group of options on the page.

   Press the button Clear Browsing Data is at the bottom of the group of options on this page.
   • If any of the options on this page are not bookmarked, tap to choose to delete the item from the cache.

7. 

   Click Clear Browsing Data when the option appears. This action will appear as a pop-up. Browser history, passwords, form data, and cached images are deleted. advertisement

Method 3 of 4: On Dolphin

1. 

   Open Dolphin. The app is green with a white dolphin ball inside.

2. 

   Click on the option ☰ located at the bottom of the screen, to the right of the house icon.

3. 

   Click Settings. This option is in the lower left corner of the pop-up menu at the bottom of the screen.
   • If you don't see an option SettingsSwipe left on the menu.

4. 

   Click on the option Clear Data (Clear Data) is located near the center of the page.

5. 

   Click Clear All Data (Delete all data). This option is at the bottom of the pop-up menu. All saved data will be deleted from Dolphin browser on iPhone.
   • If you only want to clear the cache data, tap Clear Cache (Clear cache).

Method 4 of 4: On Firefox

1. 

   Open Firefox. The app features a red fox wrapped around a blue sphere.

2. 

   Click on the icon ☰ at the bottom of the screen.

3. 

   Click on the option Settings located at the bottom right of the screen.

4. 

   Scroll down and tap Clear Private Data (Clear private data). This option is below the "Privacy" heading.

5. 

   Click Clear Private Data. This is the last option on the page.
   • You can swipe any option button on this page to the "off" position to retain that data.

6. 

   Click OK when asked. All temporary browsing data that you choose will be deleted from the Firefox application. advertisement
