Method 2 of 3: Soak in soapy water

1. 

   Fill the sink with warm water with a little mild detergent or similar cleaning product.

   Rinse the glasses with cool water. Turn on the tap for the water to run to wash off the soap. Rotate the glass in a circular motion so that water can wash off the soap on both sides with the same force.

   Place a soft cloth on one side of the lens. Fold the towel so that it covers both sides of the lens. Place your thumb on the towel on the inside of the lenses, your index and middle fingers on the outer towel. Move the finger / thumb from left to right. Apply moderate force from your finger as if pressing the lens in slow motion. Repeat with the other lens.

   Rinse the eyeglasses again with tap water.

   Shake gently to allow water to drain away from the glasses. Sprinkle off the water before using a dry cloth to wipe the glass.
