This wiki page shows you how to add a poll to your Facebook event using your iPhone or iPad.

Steps

1. 

   Open Facebook on iPhone or iPad. It has a blue icon with a white "f" inside it. You can find this icon on the home screen.

   Press the menu ≡. This option is in the lower right corner of the screen.

   Press Events (Event).

   Press Hosting (Organization). This option is in the white bar at the top of the screen.

   Click event. This will open the details of the event.

   Click the box Write something ... (Write something). This option is near the beginning of the event. A pop-up menu will expand at the bottom of the screen.

   Press Post in Event (To post). This option is at the bottom of the table of categories. A new post page will show up with some options in the lower half.

   Swipe up from the menu. This option is at the bottom of the screen (e.g. Camera, GIF, Photo / Video, etc.). This will expand additional options for the post.

   Scroll down and tap Poll (Create poll). This option is at the bottom of the menu. Find the green circle with three vertical lines inside.

    Enter a question in the “Ask a question” box. This is the question you will ask your guests to answer.

    Enter each vote individually in the box "Option". These are cells labeled "Option 1" (Option 1), "Option 2" (Option 2), and so on.

    Choose an option from the “Poll Ends” drop-down menu. It is located below the poll options. Here is how you can specify a poll end time.
    • If you do not want the poll to end, select Never (Never) from the menu.

    Press Post (To post). This option is in the upper right corner of the screen. This will send polls to the event page. The guests can view and participate in voting until the expiration date. advertisement
