With the appearance of the new Fairy type in the Pokémon X and Y video game, Eevee was able to evolve into a completely new form, the Sylveon. Sylveon is the Eevee's Fairy-type evolution with a fairly high Special Defense stat. The way of evolving into a Sylveon (utilizing the Pokémon-Amie feature in Pokémon X and Y) is not the same as evolving Eevee into any other form. However, with the right approach, you can successfully evolve in as little as 10 to 15 minutes. Note that this tutorial is written exclusively for X / Y version. Overall, the steps are pretty much the same, but the location might be slightly different. Get started at Step 1 below!
Steps
Catch Eevee if you don't have any. Since Sylveon is the evolved form of Eevee that can't be captured anywhere else in the game, you need to start with Eevee. If you have caught one before, you can proceed to the next step, but if not, you need to catch one yourself.
- In Pokémon X and Y, you can catch Eevee on Route 10 (line 10) located between Geosenge Town (town) and Cyllage City (city).
- In the Pokémon Sun and Moon video game (and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games), you can catch Eevee at Akala Island (the second island) on your way to Pokémon Ranch (ranch).
- You can also capture Eevee in Friend Safari, an area that uses the 3DS Friend Code of another player to create a place for Pokémon belonging to the same generation. Because Eevee belongs to Normal-type (normal system), you need to use Friend Code to create normal Safari.
- Finally, you can get Eevee by trading with another player.
Teach Eevee a Fairy-type move. The first condition to evolve Eevee into Sylveon is that it must know at least one Fairy-type move. Unlike other Fairy-type Pokémon like Clefable, a Moonstone (moon stone) is not required to evolve into Sylveon.- Eevee will learn two Fairy-type moves when leveling up: Baby-doll Eyes at level 9 (Level 9) and Charm (enchanted) at level 29.
- Note that Eevee cannot learn any Fairy-type moves from TM (skill machine).
There are two hearts of love (affection) from Eevee in Pokémon-Amie. The second condition to evolve into a Sylveon is that Eevee must have at least two loving hearts for you in Pokémon-Amie. Pokémon-Amie is a new feature in Pokémon X and Y that allows players to bond with their Pokémon by pampering, feeding, playing minigames with it, and letting it play with other Pokémon. in the team. Level up. After Eevee has at least two loving hearts and knows a Fairy-type move, help it level up. You can do this through random matches, against other trainers, and so on. Once Eevee levels up and the above conditions are met, it will instantly evolve. into Sylveon. Congratulations!
Avoid areas covered with moss or ice when leveling up. When helping Eevee level up in most areas in the game, it will evolve into a Sylveon if the above conditions are met, but there are a few notable exceptions you need to keep in mind. Without heed of these exceptions, Eevee could mistakenly evolve into an unexpected form! The two evolved forms of Eevee, Leafeon and Glaceon, require you to help Eevee level up near the respective moss or icy rocks to evolve successfully. If you don't help Eevee level up near those places, it will evolve into another form regardless of whether you satisfy the Sylveon evolution conditions above or not. In Pokémon X and Y, the places to avoid are:
- Route 20 (Route 20), where rocks are covered with moss.
- Frost Cavern, where ice is covered with ice.
