This wikiHow teaches you how to copy albums or playlists from your iPhone to your Apple Watch.

Steps

1.

   • You can't add music to your Apple Watch if Bluetooth isn't on.

   Open the Watch app on iPhone. Tap the Watch app with the black and white Apple Watch icon seen from the side.

   Click My Watch (My watches). This tab is in the lower left corner of the screen. The Apple Watch settings page opens.
   • If you have more than one Apple Watch synced to your iPhone, select the Apple Watch you want to add music to before proceeding.

   Scroll down and tap Music (Music). This option is in the "M" section of the list of apps on the Apple Watch.

   Click Add Music ... (Add music). This option is below the "PLAYLISTS & ALBUMS" heading in the center of the page.

   Choose a category. Tap one of the following options:
   • Artists (Artist)
   • Albums (Album)
   • Genres (Category)
   • Compilations (Synthetic)
   • Playlists (Playlist)

   Select music to add. Tap the album or playlist you want to add to your Apple Watch.
   • If you choose ArtistsYou need to select a specific artist first before you can click on the album to add.

   Wait for the music to upload. A progress bar appears below the "Uploading ..." heading near the top of your iPhone screen; when the progress bar disappears, the music is on the Apple Watch. advertisement

Advice

• You can delete music from Apple Watch by pressing the button Edit (Edit) in the upper right corner of the Watch app's "Music" page, click on the red circle to the left of the category of music, then tap Delete (Delete) to the right of the music.

Warning

• Apple Watch has extremely limited storage space, so it is difficult to add an entire music library to the Apple Watch.
• You can't listen to music on Apple Watch without syncing your Apple Watch with Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
