This article shows you how to change the display name of an Android device when using Bluetooth or another network connection.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Change the name of the device

1.

• If you have difficulty changing the device's name, restart the device and turn on Bluetooth.

• The new device name is not displayed when you use it as a network access point (also called a hotspot).
