This article shows you how to change the display name of an Android device when using Bluetooth or another network connection.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Change the name of the device
- in the upper right corner the menu is currently displayed.
- . You should see the Bluetooth menu display after 1-2 seconds.

- If you don't see an option Rename (Rename), perhaps you cannot rename the Android device from the Bluetooth screen. In this case, use the Settings menu.

- If you have difficulty changing the device's name, restart the device and turn on Bluetooth.

- The new device name is not displayed when you use it as a network access point (also called a hotspot).
