You need a Google account to sign into YouTube. However, for those who already have an email account (or don't want to use a Gmail account), they can create a Google account using an address other than Gmail. You will need to visit Google's Sign Up Without Gmail (Sign Up Without Gmail) page from a web browser and fill out the information (the mobile app doesn't have this option to create a Google account without Gmail, but you can access it using your phone's browser).    Sign in with your registered email address. Enter your email address and password and click “Continue” (Next). Your Google Account will be verified and ready to use.

   Sign in to your new Google account. Click “Sign in” in the upper right corner and enter your email address / password.
   • If you signed in at verification, you can skip the login step.

   See features for your account. With a YouTube account, you can now use some features that were not previously allowed. Some actions that you can do on YouTube now include:

Method 2 of 2: Use YouTube without an account
