Today's wikiHow teaches you how to fill the needs of Sim members. You can do this by using cheat codes on both PC version and game console.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Sims 4: on a computer

1. 

   Open cheat console cheat console. Press Ctrl+⇧ Shift+C on a Windows computer or ⌘ Command+⇧ Shift+C on Mac. A text box will appear at the top of the screen.

   Turn on cheating mode. Import testingcheats on and press ↵ Enter. A confirmation message "Cheats are enabled" will appear on the left side of the window.

   Find Sim. Find the Sim character you want to fill at least one demand bar.

   See the needs of this Sim character. Select Sim to see your character's needs and see which bars are low.

   Filling demand for Sim. After determining the need to fill, open the cheat console again and enter the code fillmotive motive_need (Note: instead need by name of need) then click ↵ Enter.
   • For example, to fill the "Social" bar of the Sim character, you need to enter fillmotive motive_social.

   Filling all your Sim needs at once. If you want to fill many needs at once for your character, you can use cheat code "Make Happy":
   • Hold down ⇧ Shift at the same time click on the Sim character.
   • Click Cheat Need ... (Fraud demand) in the options that pop up.
   • Click Make Happy

   Filling the needs of the whole world The Sims. If you want to fill the needs of all characters, you can use the Sim World's mailbox:
   • Go to mailbox.
   • Hold down ⇧ Shift at the same time click on the mailbox.
   • Click Alter Needs (Change of demand)
   • Click Fill Needs (world) (Filling demand for the whole world)

   Do not forget to periodically fill the demand for Sims. The character will still consume as usual, so you need to periodically re-enter the appropriate cheat code to ensure that the Sim's needs are always full. advertisement

Method 2 of 4: Sims 4: on game consoles

1. 

   Open the cheat console. Press the buttons A and B (Xbox One) or X and O (PlayStation 4) at the same time to open the cheats console. A text box will appear.
   • Or maybe you need to press RT, RB, LT and LB (or R1, R2, L1 and L2 on PS4) at the same time.

   Turn on cheating mode. Insert code testingcheats true text box then press the confirm button.

   Choose OK when prompted. The decision to enable cheating will be confirmed.

   Find Sim. Find the Sim character you want to fill at least one demand bar.

5. 

   Open the cheat menu. Hover the cursor over Sim to select that character and press the button A and B (Xbox One) or X and O (PS4) to open the cheat menu. Various options will appear.

   Choose Cheat Need from the menu.

7. 

   Choose Make Happy. All Sim needs that you choose will be 100% filled.

   Filling the needs of the whole world The Sims. If you want to fill the needs of all characters, you can use the Sim World's mailbox:
   • Go to the mailbox and hover your cursor over it.
   • Press at the same time A and B or X and O
   • Choose Alter Needs
   • Choose Fill Needs (world)

Methods 3 of 4: Sims 2 and 3: drag and drop method

This method works with Nightlife or Open For Business extensions.

   Open the cheat frame with a key combination Ctrl+⇧ Shift+C.

Advice

• If you do not want to use cheat codes, you need to track the status of each character and handle the low demand by enabling Sim to meet demand. For example, if a certain Sim's "Social" demand bar is low, put that Sim in a room with lots of people to increase the character's social communication.

Warning

• On the console version, you won't be able to gain achievements in the selected world if cheating is enabled (even if you turn off cheat afterwards).
