Part 1 of 2: Preparing for the connection

1. 

   Make sure the cables are installed. If the Comcast staff hasn't come home to install the cable yet, you'll need to call the operator and ask for it to be installed.

   Plug the cable box power cord into an electrical outlet. Plug the power cord of the cable box into a wall outlet or an extension outlet.
